You can easily change your local account settings in Windows 10 by following these steps:
- Open Settings: Click the Start button and select the Settings icon (gear-shaped).
- Go to Accounts: In the Settings window, click on Accounts.
- Select Your Account: On the left side of the window, choose Your info.
- Modify Account Settings: On the right side, you'll find options to:
- Change your account picture: Click Choose a picture to select a new image.
- Change your account name: Click Rename PC to change your account name.
- Change your account password: Click Sign-in options and then Change under the Password section.
- Add a security question: Click Sign-in options and then Add under the Security questions section.
Important Note: If you've forgotten your password, you'll need to reset it using a Microsoft account or a local administrator account.

- You can also access these settings by searching for "Account Settings" in the Windows search bar.
- You can change your account type from a standard user to an administrator by clicking Family & other users in the Accounts settings and then selecting your account.
