Cutting a clip in Pinnacle Studio is a simple process that can be achieved using a few different methods:

1. Using the Blade Tool

  • Locate the Blade Tool: This tool looks like a pair of scissors and is typically found on the toolbar or within the editing window.
  • Select the Clip: Click on the clip you want to edit in the timeline.
  • Position the Playhead: Move the playhead to the exact point where you want to make the cut.
  • Click the Blade Tool: Click the Blade Tool to insert a cut mark at the playhead position.
  • Delete or Trim: You can now delete the unwanted portion of the clip or trim it by dragging the cut mark to the desired position.
