How Do I Add Media in Premiere Pro?

Adding media to Premiere Pro is a straightforward process. You can import various types of media, including videos, images, and audio files.

Importing Media

  1. Open Premiere Pro: Launch the software and create a new project or open an existing one.
  2. Navigate to the Media Browser: You can find the Media Browser in the left panel.
  3. Locate Your Media: Click the "Browse" button to access your computer's files. Navigate to the folder containing your media files.
  4. Select and Drag: Select the desired media files, then drag and drop them directly into the Project Panel.

Additional Options

  • Using the File Menu: You can also import media by going to File > Import.
  • Importing Multiple Files: To import multiple files at once, use Shift + Click or Ctrl + Click to select them.

Understanding the Project Panel
