How Do I Add Audio Files to Premiere Pro?

You can add audio files to Premiere Pro using the Media Browser or by dragging and dropping them directly into your timeline.

Using the Media Browser

  1. Open the Media Browser: Click on the Media Browser icon in the Project Panel.
  2. Locate your audio file: Navigate to the folder where your audio file is stored.
  3. Select and drag: Select the audio file and drag it into the Timeline or the Project Panel.

Drag and Drop

  1. Open your audio file: Locate the audio file on your computer.
  2. Drag and drop: Drag the audio file from your computer's file explorer and drop it into the Timeline or the Project Panel.

Tips

  • You can use the Media Browser to search for audio files by name, type, or other criteria.
  • You can add multiple audio files at once by selecting them and dragging them together.
