Why Won't My Tile Ring My Phone?

There are a few reasons why your Tile might not be ringing your phone:

1. Tile Battery Is Dead

  • Tiles are powered by replaceable batteries.
  • If the battery is dead, the Tile won't be able to communicate with your phone.
  • Solution: Replace the Tile's battery.

2. Tile Is Out of Range

  • Tiles have a limited range, typically around 100-200 feet.
  • If your Tile is too far away from your phone, it won't be able to connect and ring.
  • Solution: Get closer to the Tile.

3. Bluetooth Is Turned Off

  • Your Tile needs Bluetooth to connect to your phone.
  • If Bluetooth is turned off on your phone, the Tile won't be able to ring.
  • Solution: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.

4. Tile App Is Not Open or Running

  • The Tile app needs to be open and running in the background for the Tile to ring your phone.
