Which Country Has Banned Google?

Published in Technology 1 min read

No country has completely banned Google. However, certain countries have imposed restrictions or limitations on Google services.

Examples of Restrictions:

  • China: Google's search engine, Gmail, and other services are blocked in China. The Chinese government operates its own search engine, Baidu, and imposes strict internet controls.
  • North Korea: Access to the internet is severely limited in North Korea, and Google services are unavailable.
  • Iran: Google's services, including YouTube, have faced intermittent bans in Iran. The government has implemented restrictions based on its own policies.

While these countries have restricted access to Google services, they haven't entirely banned the entire company.

Important Note: The information provided here is subject to change as government policies and internet regulations evolve.
