How Do I Update Safari on My Mac?

Published in Technology 1 min read

You can update Safari on your Mac through the Mac App Store.

  1. Open the Mac App Store: Click the App Store icon in your Dock or search for it using Spotlight.
  2. Click "Updates": In the top menu bar, click "Updates" to see available updates for your apps, including Safari.
  3. Update Safari: If an update is available for Safari, you'll see a "Update" button next to it. Click the button to start the update process.
  4. Wait for the update to install: The update will download and install automatically. You may be asked to enter your password for confirmation.

Once the update is complete, you can launch Safari and start using the latest version.

Note: If you're running an older version of macOS, you may need to update your operating system first to get the latest version of Safari. You can check for updates in the System Preferences app under Software Update.
