You can find your files on Canvas in a few different ways, depending on where you saved them:
1. Files Uploaded in a Course:
- Go to the course: Navigate to the specific course where you uploaded the file.
- Click on "Files": Look for the "Files" tab within the course navigation menu.
- Browse the files: The files you uploaded in that course will be displayed. You can use the search bar or filter options to find specific files.
2. Files Uploaded to Your Canvas Profile:
- Go to your profile: Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Canvas page.
- Select "Files": Choose the "Files" option from the dropdown menu.
- Find your uploaded files: Your uploaded files will be listed here.
3. Files Shared with You:
- Access shared files: If someone shared a file with you, it will be available in your "Files" section.
- Check the "Shared With Me" folder: Look for a folder labeled "Shared With Me" within your "Files" section. This folder contains all files that have been shared with you.
Example:
Let's say you uploaded a presentation to your "English 101" course. To find it, you would go to your "English 101" course, click on the "Files" tab, and then search for the presentation file.
Note: The location of the "Files" tab may vary depending on the specific Canvas theme used by your institution.
