How Do I Add Tidal to Alexa?

Published in Technology 1 min read

You can't directly add Tidal as a music source to Alexa. However, you can use the Tidal app on your phone or tablet to play music through Alexa using Bluetooth.

Using Bluetooth

  1. Open the Tidal app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Play the music you want to listen to.
  3. Pair your device with your Alexa speaker using Bluetooth.
  4. Select your device as the audio output in the Tidal app.

Now you can control playback using your Alexa device. You can say things like:

  • "Alexa, play"
  • "Alexa, pause"
  • "Alexa, next"
  • "Alexa, previous"

Using Other Devices

You can also use other devices to stream Tidal music through Alexa:

  • Amazon Echo Show: If you have an Echo Show, you can open the Tidal app directly on the device.
  • Fire TV: You can use the Tidal app on your Fire TV to play music through your Alexa speaker.

Remember, you'll need a Tidal subscription to use these methods.
