You don't need to add Google Maps to your iPhone; it's already there! Apple uses a different mapping app called Apple Maps, but Google Maps is available as a separate app you can download from the App Store.
Downloading Google Maps
- Open the App Store on your iPhone.
- Search for "Google Maps".
- Tap the Get button next to the Google Maps app.
- Enter your Apple ID password if prompted.
- The app will download and install automatically.
Using Google Maps
Once installed, you can open Google Maps and start using it. You can:
- Search for locations by typing in the address, name, or category.
- Get directions to your destination.
- Save places to your favorites for easy access later.
- Explore nearby places using the "Explore" feature.
- Use offline maps for navigation even without internet access.
Remember, if you want to use Google Maps as your default mapping app, you'll need to change the settings in your iPhone.
