How do I turn off password sharing on my iPad?

Published in Tech Support 1 min read

You can't directly turn off password sharing on your iPad. However, you can prevent your iPad from sharing Wi-Fi passwords with other devices by forgetting the Wi-Fi network or by removing the network from your iCloud Keychain.

Here's how to forget a Wi-Fi network on your iPad:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap on the "i" icon next to the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to forget.
  4. Tap on "Forget This Network".

To remove the network from your iCloud Keychain, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID profile at the top.
  3. Tap on iCloud.
  4. Tap on Keychain.
  5. Turn Keychain off.

Once you've forgotten the network or removed it from your iCloud Keychain, your iPad will no longer share the password with other devices.
