How Do You Add Lines Between Columns in Tableau?

Published in Tableau 1 min read

You can add lines between columns in Tableau using the "Show Column Grand Totals" option. This feature adds a line at the bottom of each column, effectively separating them visually.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Right-click on the "Rows" shelf.
  2. Select "Show Column Grand Totals".

This will add a line at the bottom of each column in your view, making it easier to distinguish between them.

Note: This method only adds lines at the bottom of the columns, not between them.
