You can download a worksheet from Tableau as a static image, a PDF file, or a data extract.

Downloading a Worksheet as an Image

  1. Open the worksheet you want to download.
  2. Click the "Export" button in the top-right corner of the Tableau window.
  3. Select "Image" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the image format you prefer (PNG, JPG, or GIF).
  5. Click "Export" to save the image to your computer.

Downloading a Worksheet as a PDF

  1. Open the worksheet you want to download.
  2. Click the "Export" button in the top-right corner of the Tableau window.
  3. Select "PDF" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Customize the PDF settings (e.g., page size, orientation, and margins).
  5. Click "Export" to save the PDF to your computer.

Downloading a Worksheet as a Data Extract

  1. Open the worksheet you want to download.
  2. Click the "Data" menu in the top toolbar.
  3. Select "Extract Data".
  4. Choose the desired data format (e.g., .csv, .xlsx, or .txt).
  5. Click "Extract" to save the data extract to your computer.

Remember that downloading a worksheet as an image or PDF will only save a static snapshot of the visualization. The data extract will contain the underlying data used in the worksheet, allowing you to analyze it further in other tools.
