You cannot see a mirror in space in the traditional sense. A mirror reflects light, and in the vast emptiness of space, there's no light source for the mirror to reflect.
However, astronauts can see their reflections in a variety of ways:
- Spacecraft windows: The glass of spacecraft windows can act like mirrors, reflecting light from the sun or Earth.
- Helmets: Astronauts' helmets are equipped with visors that can reflect light, allowing them to see their reflections.
- Portable mirrors: Astronauts can bring small mirrors into space for personal use, such as for applying makeup or checking their appearance.
While you can't simply "see a mirror" in space, astronauts can still see their reflections in various ways.
