The Sonos One microphone is always on by default. However, you can mute the microphone to prevent it from listening to your voice.
To mute the microphone, follow these steps:
- Press the microphone mute button: This button is located on the top of the Sonos One speaker, and it looks like a small microphone with a line through it.
- Use the Sonos app: Open the Sonos app on your mobile device, select the Sonos One speaker, and tap the Microphone icon. This will toggle the microphone on and off.
When the microphone is muted, you will see a visual indicator on the speaker, and you will not be able to use voice commands.
To turn the microphone back on, simply repeat the steps above.
