You can copy a Power Automate Desktop flow to another user by exporting the flow as a package and then importing it on the other user's machine. Here's how:
Exporting the Flow
- Open the flow: Open the flow you want to copy in Power Automate Desktop.
- Click on the "File" menu: Go to the top menu bar and click on "File".
- Select "Export as Package": In the "File" menu, choose "Export as Package".
- Choose a location: Select a location on your computer to save the exported package file.
- Click "Export": Click the "Export" button to save the package file.
Importing the Flow
- Open Power Automate Desktop on the other user's machine: Ensure the other user has Power Automate Desktop installed.
- Click on the "File" menu: Go to the top menu bar and click on "File".
- Select "Import Package": In the "File" menu, choose "Import Package".
- Select the exported package file: Browse to the location where you saved the exported package file and select it.
- Click "Import": Click the "Import" button to import the flow.
Additional Notes
- The flow will be imported as a new flow in the other user's Power Automate Desktop.
- Ensure both users have the same version of Power Automate Desktop installed.
- If the flow uses any external dependencies, such as custom activities or libraries, make sure these are also available on the other user's machine.
Example
Imagine you have a flow called "Automate Invoice Processing" that you want to share with a colleague. You would export this flow as a package and then import it on your colleague's machine. They would then have a copy of the "Automate Invoice Processing" flow, ready to use.
