You can download VMware Tools directly from the VMware Workstation or VMware Fusion application.
Downloading VMware Tools from VMware Workstation/Fusion:
- Open the VMware Workstation/Fusion application and select the virtual machine you want to install VMware Tools on.
- Click "VM" from the menu bar and then select "Install VMware Tools".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install VMware Tools.
Downloading VMware Tools from the VMware Website:
You can also download VMware Tools directly from the VMware website.
- Navigate to the VMware website and search for "VMware Tools".
- Select the version of VMware Tools that is compatible with your version of VMware Workstation/Fusion.
- Download the VMware Tools installer and transfer it to your virtual machine.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install VMware Tools.
