You can add models to Paint 3D by importing them from your computer or by using the built-in 3D objects.
Importing Models
- Open Paint 3D: Launch the Paint 3D application on your computer.
- Click "Import": In the top menu bar, click on the "Import" button.
- Select your model: Browse your computer's file system and choose the 3D model you want to add. Supported file formats include .obj, .fbx, .gltf, and .ply.
- Adjust the model: Once imported, you can resize, rotate, and position the model using the tools in the sidebar.
Using Built-in 3D Objects
- Click "3D Objects": In the left sidebar, click on the "3D Objects" button.
- Choose a model: Select from a variety of pre-made 3D objects, such as animals, vehicles, and furniture.
- Add to your canvas: Click on the model you want to add to your canvas.
- Customize the model: You can change the color, texture, and other properties of the model using the tools in the sidebar.
Example:
Let's say you want to add a 3D model of a car to your Paint 3D project. You could either import a car model from your computer or choose a car model from the "3D Objects" section. Once added, you can customize the car's color, texture, and even add stickers to make it your own.
