There are two ways to reset a TP-Link smart plug:
1. Using the Reset Button:
- Locate the reset button on your TP-Link smart plug. It is usually a small, recessed button.
- Press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds.
- The LED indicator on the plug will flash rapidly during the reset process.
- Release the button when the LED light stops flashing.
- Your TP-Link smart plug is now reset.
2. Using the Kasa App:
- Open the Kasa app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Select the smart plug you want to reset.
- Tap the settings icon (usually a gear or cogwheel).
- Choose "Reset Device" or a similar option.
- Confirm the reset by following the on-screen prompts.
- Your TP-Link smart plug will be reset.
Note: Resetting your TP-Link smart plug will erase all settings and configurations. You will need to reconfigure the device and reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network after the reset.
