You can use your Alexa Echo device to play audio from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Here's how:
1. Enable Bluetooth on Your Echo Device
- Say, "Alexa, turn on Bluetooth."
- You can also enable Bluetooth through the Alexa app by going to Settings > Device Settings > Your Echo Device > Bluetooth.
2. Put Your Echo Device in Pairing Mode
- After enabling Bluetooth, Alexa will announce that your Echo is now discoverable.
- Alternatively, you can say, "Alexa, pair a device."
3. Pair Your Device
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select your Echo device from the list.
- Once paired, you'll hear a confirmation tone from your Echo and your device.
4. Play Audio
- Now you can play music, podcasts, or any other audio from your device through your Echo.
- You can control the volume and playback using your Echo device or the connected device.
5. Disconnect
- To disconnect your device, say, "Alexa, disconnect Bluetooth."
- You can also disconnect from the Alexa app by going to Settings > Device Settings > Your Echo Device > Bluetooth and selecting Disconnect.
