You can factory reset your Google Nest device to restore it to its original settings. Here's how:
For Google Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max, or Nest Hub (2nd Gen):
- Touch and hold the top of the screen until the device restarts.
- Select "Factory Reset" from the menu that appears.
- Confirm your choice to proceed with the reset.
For Google Nest Mini (1st Gen):
- Press and hold the top button for about 15 seconds.
- Release the button when you hear a chime sound.
- Wait for the device to reset.
For Google Nest Mini (2nd Gen), Nest Audio, and Nest Wifi:
- Unplug the device from the power source.
- Press and hold the reset button on the back of the device for about 15 seconds.
- Plug the device back in.
- Wait for the device to reset.
For Google Nest Hub (1st Gen):
- Open the Google Home app.
