Can I Put Sunscreen on Burned Skin?

Published in Skincare 1 min read

It's generally not recommended to put sunscreen on burned skin.

Sunburned skin is already sensitive and irritated. Applying sunscreen can further irritate the skin and cause discomfort.

Sunburns are a sign of skin damage, and it's important to allow the skin to heal properly.

Instead of sunscreen, focus on soothing and cooling the burned area with cool compresses, aloe vera gel, or other burn-relief products.

Once the burn has healed, you can resume using sunscreen to protect your skin from further sun damage.
