Can You See Angels on Laylatul Qadr?

Published in Religion & Spirituality 2 mins read

It is not possible to physically see angels on Laylatul Qadr or any other night.

While the Quran and Islamic traditions mention the descent of angels on Laylatul Qadr, these are spiritual events not meant for human perception. The focus of this night is on seeking forgiveness, reflecting on one's actions, and engaging in acts of worship.

Here's why we can't see angels:

  • Angels are spiritual beings: They exist in a different realm than humans and are not visible to our physical eyes.
  • Spiritual experiences are subjective: While some individuals may experience spiritual visions or encounters, these are personal and not universally shared.
  • The emphasis is on faith: Laylatul Qadr is a time for strengthening our belief in God and His messengers, not for seeking physical manifestations of angels.

Instead of focusing on seeing angels, we should focus on the true essence of Laylatul Qadr:

  • Seeking forgiveness: Repenting for our sins and asking for God's mercy.
  • Performing good deeds: Engaging in acts of charity, helping others, and striving for good character.
  • Reciting the Quran: Spending time reading and understanding the Holy Book.
  • Praying: Engaging in heartfelt supplication and asking for God's blessings.

Laylatul Qadr is a night of immense spiritual significance, and its true value lies in our internal connection with God, not in seeking physical evidence.
