The God of Ismailis is Allah, the same God worshipped by all Muslims.
Ismailis are a branch of Shia Islam, and they believe in the same core tenets as other Shia Muslims. This includes the belief in:
- The oneness of God (Tawhid)
- The prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh)
- The divine inspiration of the Quran
- The authority of the Imams
Ismailis believe that the Imams are divinely appointed successors to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). They believe that the Imams are the rightful interpreters of Islam and the guides to spiritual truth. The current Imam of the Ismaili Muslims is His Highness the Aga Khan IV.
While the Ismaili branch of Shia Islam has some unique beliefs and practices, their core belief in Allah remains the same as all Muslims.
