How to Apply Auto Settings to All Photos in Lightroom?

Published in Photography 1 min read

You can apply Lightroom's auto settings to all photos in a collection or a specific folder by using the "Develop" module's "Auto" button.

Applying Auto Settings to a Collection:

  1. Select the collection you want to apply auto settings to.
  2. Go to the "Develop" module.
  3. Click the "Auto" button located in the toolbar. Lightroom will automatically adjust the settings for all the photos in the selected collection.

Applying Auto Settings to a Folder:

  1. Select the folder containing the photos you want to apply auto settings to.
  2. Go to the "Develop" module.
  3. Click the "Auto" button. Lightroom will automatically adjust the settings for all the photos in the selected folder.

Note: The "Auto" button uses Lightroom's intelligent algorithms to analyze each image and apply optimal settings based on its content. However, the results might not be ideal for all photos, and you may need to adjust the settings manually afterward.
