You can reboot an Aruba 8320 switch through the web interface or the command-line interface (CLI).
Web Interface
- Log in to the web interface: Access the switch's web interface using a web browser and enter the username and password.
- Navigate to the 'System' menu: Find the 'System' menu within the web interface.
- Select 'Reboot' option: Click on the 'Reboot' option within the 'System' menu.
- Confirm the reboot: Confirm the reboot action by clicking on the 'Reboot' button.
Command-Line Interface (CLI)
- Establish a CLI connection: Connect to the switch via SSH or Telnet.
- Enter the 'reboot' command: Type the command
reboot
and press Enter. - Confirm the reboot: The switch will prompt you to confirm the reboot. Type 'yes' and press Enter to proceed.
The Aruba 8320 will then reboot automatically.
Important Considerations:
- Before rebooting, ensure you have saved any necessary configurations.
- Rebooting the switch may disrupt network connectivity.
- Allow sufficient time for the switch to reboot completely.
