The other members, Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor, have all passed away.
- Freddie Mercury died on November 24, 1991, from complications related to AIDS.
- John Deacon retired from the music industry in 1997 and has largely stayed out of the public eye since then.
- Roger Taylor continues to perform and record music, both solo and with Queen + Adam Lambert.
Brian May continues to perform and record music, often with Adam Lambert filling in for Freddie Mercury on vocals. He is also known for his work as an astrophysicist and animal rights activist.
