Wolves in Minecraft drop experience orbs when killed. The amount of experience dropped depends on the wolf's level.
- Level 1 wolves drop 1-3 experience orbs.
- Level 2 wolves drop 2-4 experience orbs.
- Level 3 wolves drop 3-5 experience orbs.
Wolves also drop meat if they are tamed and fed bones. This meat can be cooked and eaten, or used as a crafting ingredient.
