How Do I Change the MIDI Channel on My Arturia Keystep Pro?

You can change the MIDI channel on your Arturia Keystep Pro by using the Channel button located on the top panel of the keyboard.

Here's how:

  1. Press the Channel button: This will illuminate the button, indicating that you are in channel selection mode.
  2. Use the +/- buttons: These buttons are located on the left and right sides of the keyboard. Press the "+" button to increase the channel number, or the "-" button to decrease it.
  3. Select the desired channel: The channel number will be displayed on the small LCD screen above the Channel button. Continue pressing the +/- buttons until you reach the desired channel number.
  4. Exit channel selection mode: Once you have selected the desired channel, press the Channel button again to exit channel selection mode.

Example: To change the MIDI channel to channel 3, you would:

  • Press the Channel button.
  • Press the "+" button twice.
  • Press the Channel button again to exit channel selection mode.

Note: The Arturia Keystep Pro can send MIDI data on channels 1-16.
