You can change the language in Microsoft Word by adjusting the document language or the interface language.

Changing the Document Language:

  1. Select the text: Highlight the portion of text you want to change.
  2. Go to the "Language" tab: Click the "Review" tab, then choose "Language" from the ribbon.
  3. Select the desired language: Choose the desired language from the "Language" dropdown menu.
  4. Set the language: Click "Set Language" to apply the changes.

Changing the Interface Language:

  1. Open Word Options: Click "File" > "Options."
  2. Select "Language": Go to "Language" from the left-hand menu.
  3. Add a language: Click "Add a language" and select the desired language from the list.
  4. Set as default: Click "Set as default" to make the selected language the primary interface language.

Example: If you want to write a document in Spanish, you would select Spanish from the "Language" dropdown menu. If you want to change the entire Word interface to Spanish, you would select Spanish from the "Add a language" list and set it as the default.

Note: You may need to restart Word for the interface language changes to take effect.
