How Do I Create a Network User on My Mac?

You can easily create a new network user on your Mac using the Users & Groups preference pane. Here's how:

  1. Open System Preferences: Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen and select "System Preferences."
  2. Navigate to Users & Groups: Click on the "Users & Groups" icon.
  3. Unlock the pane: Click the lock icon in the bottom-left corner and enter your administrator password.
  4. Click the "+" button: This is located at the bottom of the "Users & Groups" window.
  5. Choose "New User" from the options.
  6. Enter the user's information:
    • Full Name: The user's full name.

  7. Select the account type:
    • Administrator: This user has full control over the Mac.
