You can share your internet connection while using NordVPN by creating a virtual private network (VPN) hotspot. This allows other devices to connect to your computer and access the internet through your NordVPN connection.
Here's how to do it on Windows:
- Connect to a NordVPN server: Open the NordVPN app and choose a server location.
- Enable internet sharing: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Change adapter options.
- Select your NordVPN connection: Right-click on the NordVPN connection and choose Properties.
- Share your connection: Go to the Sharing tab and check the box for Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection.
- Choose your network interface: Select the name of the network interface you want to use for sharing.
- Create a Wi-Fi hotspot: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot. Enable Mobile hotspot and configure your hotspot's name and password.
Note: The steps for other operating systems may vary.
For Mac users, follow these steps:
- Connect to NordVPN: Open the NordVPN app and choose a server location.
- Enable internet sharing: Go to System Preferences > Sharing.
- Select your VPN connection: Check the box for Internet Sharing and choose your NordVPN connection as the source.
- Create a hotspot: Choose Wi-Fi as the sharing option and configure your hotspot's name and password.
Remember: Sharing your VPN connection might reduce your overall internet speed.
