You can insert an image into Photoshop using the File > Place command.
Steps to Insert an Image:
- Open Photoshop: Launch the Photoshop application on your computer.
- Open the Image: Go to File > Open and select the image you want to insert.
- Select Place: Choose File > Place to open the "Place" dialog box.
- Select Image: Locate and select the image you want to insert from your computer.
- Place Image: Click Place to insert the image into your Photoshop document.
Additional Information:
- Placement: The image will be placed in the center of your document by default. You can move and resize it using the Move Tool (V).
- Layers: The placed image will be added as a separate layer in your document. This allows you to easily edit or adjust the image independently.
- Smart Objects: Placing an image as a Smart Object allows you to resize or transform the image without losing quality. To place as a Smart Object, hold Alt while clicking Place.
