You can't directly open a PSD file in Autodesk SketchBook. SketchBook primarily supports its own native file format, .sketch. However, you can import PSD files into SketchBook using a few workarounds:
Workarounds for Importing PSD Files into SketchBook:
- Export as a compatible format: Open your PSD file in an image editing software like Adobe Photoshop or GIMP, and export it as a .jpg, .png, or .tiff file. These formats are supported by SketchBook.
- Convert using an online tool: Several online tools can convert PSD files to SketchBook's compatible formats. Search for "PSD to JPG converter" or "PSD to PNG converter" online.
- Import layers individually: If your PSD file has multiple layers, you can import each layer as a separate image file into SketchBook. This method allows you to maintain the layering structure of your PSD file.
Note: While these workarounds allow you to import PSD files into SketchBook, they may not preserve all the features of the original PSD file, such as advanced layer effects or specific color profiles.
