You can cut a path in Illustrator iPad using the Scissors Tool.
Here's how:
- Select the Scissors Tool: Tap the Tools icon, then select the Scissors Tool.
- Tap the Path: Tap the path where you want to cut it. A small blue dot will appear, marking the cut point.
- Move the Scissors Tool: Move the Scissors Tool to a different location on the path and tap again to create another cut point.
- Continue Cutting: Repeat steps 2 and 3 to make additional cuts as needed.
Note: You can also use the Direct Selection Tool to select and move the cut points after you've made them.
Example:
Imagine you have a circular path and you want to cut it into two semi-circles. You can use the Scissors Tool to create two cuts on the path, one at the top and one at the bottom. This will divide the path into two separate paths, each representing a semi-circle.
