You can change the screen on Google Slides by switching between different slide layouts.

Changing Slide Layouts

  1. Click on the slide you want to change.
  2. Go to the "Layout" menu in the toolbar.
  3. Choose a new layout from the available options.

Available Layouts

Google Slides offers various pre-designed layouts, including:

  • Title Slide: A large title and subtitle area.
  • Title and Text: A title area and a section for text.
  • Section Header: A header for dividing your presentation into sections.
  • Two Columns: Two equal columns for text or images.
  • Blank: A blank slide for complete customization.

Applying Layouts

  • You can apply a layout to multiple slides at once by selecting them and then choosing the desired layout.
  • You can also customize the layout by adding or removing elements like text boxes, images, and shapes.

Example

If you want to change a slide with a "Title and Text" layout to a "Two Columns" layout, you would simply follow the steps above:

  1. Click on the slide you want to change.
  2. Go to the "Layout" menu in the toolbar.
  3. Select the "Two Columns" layout.

The slide will now have two equal columns for you to add content.
