You can change the screen on Google Slides by switching between different slide layouts.
Changing Slide Layouts
- Click on the slide you want to change.
- Go to the "Layout" menu in the toolbar.
- Choose a new layout from the available options.
Available Layouts
Google Slides offers various pre-designed layouts, including:
- Title Slide: A large title and subtitle area.
- Title and Text: A title area and a section for text.
- Section Header: A header for dividing your presentation into sections.
- Two Columns: Two equal columns for text or images.
- Blank: A blank slide for complete customization.
Applying Layouts
- You can apply a layout to multiple slides at once by selecting them and then choosing the desired layout.
- You can also customize the layout by adding or removing elements like text boxes, images, and shapes.
Example
If you want to change a slide with a "Title and Text" layout to a "Two Columns" layout, you would simply follow the steps above:
- Click on the slide you want to change.
- Go to the "Layout" menu in the toolbar.
- Select the "Two Columns" layout.
The slide will now have two equal columns for you to add content.
