You can't delete all photos in Google Photos with a single click. However, you can delete them in bulk using the following steps:
- Go to Google Photos: Access your Google Photos account through the website or mobile app.
- Select the First Photo: Click on the first photo you want to delete.
- Hold Shift and Select the Last Photo: While holding down the Shift key, click on the last photo you want to delete. This will select all the photos in between.
- Delete Selected Photos: Click the trash icon to delete the selected photos.
Important Note: Deleted photos are moved to the trash bin. To permanently delete them, you need to empty the trash bin.
Practical Insights:
- For large photo libraries, this process may take a while to complete.
- You can repeat this process to delete other groups of photos in bulk.
Example:
To delete all photos from a specific album, open the album, select the first and last photo (holding Shift) and delete them.
Alternative Methods:
- Use the "Recently Added" View: Navigate to "Recently Added," select the first photo, and scroll down to the end, holding Shift and clicking on the last photo.
- Use the "Search" Feature: Search for specific criteria (like date or location) and select all photos in the results.
