Published in Google Forms 2 mins read

You can't directly transfer a Google Form to another account. However, you can easily copy and paste the form's content to a new form created in the desired account. Here's how:

  1. Open the Google Form you want to transfer.
  2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the form.
  3. Select "Copy to..."
  4. Choose the account where you want to transfer the form.
  5. Create a new form in the chosen account.
  6. Paste the copied content into the new form.

Note: This method will copy the form's questions, responses, and settings, but it won't transfer any associated data like the form's URL or responses collected in the original form.

Here's a step-by-step breakdown:

1. Open the Google Form You Want to Transfer

  • Go to your Google Drive.
  • Find the Google Form you want to transfer.
  • Click on the form to open it.

2. Click on the Three Dots

  • Look for the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the form editor.
  • Click on them.

3. Select "Copy to..."

  • A drop-down menu will appear.
  • Select the "Copy to..." option.

4. Choose the Account

  • A pop-up window will appear.
  • Select the account where you want to transfer the form.
  • If the desired account is not listed, you can add it by clicking on "Add another account."

5. Create a New Form

  • Go to the desired account.
  • Open Google Forms.
  • Click on "Blank" to create a new form.

6. Paste the Copied Content

  • Open the new form in the desired account.
  • Click on the first question to select it.
  • Press Ctrl+V (or Command+V on a Mac) to paste the copied content.

Remember: The responses collected in the original form will not be transferred to the new form.
