How to Adjust Tension on a Peloton Bike?

Adjusting the resistance on your Peloton Bike is easy! You can do it directly on the touchscreen during your ride or by using the resistance knob located on the bike's handlebars.

Adjusting Resistance During Your Ride:

  1. Tap the Resistance Button: On the touchscreen, locate the resistance button. It looks like a gear icon.
  2. Use the Slider: Drag the slider left or right to increase or decrease the resistance.
  3. Adjust in Small Increments: Start with small adjustments and gradually increase or decrease the resistance as needed.

Adjusting Resistance Using the Knob:

  1. Locate the Knob: The resistance knob is located on the right handlebar of your Peloton Bike.
  2. Turn the Knob: Turn the knob clockwise to increase resistance and counterclockwise to decrease resistance.
  3. Feel the Change: You'll feel the resistance change immediately as you turn the knob.

Tips:

  • Start with a Lower Resistance: It's always best to start with a lower resistance and gradually increase it as you get warmed up.
  • Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to your body and adjust the resistance accordingly. If you feel too much strain, lower the resistance.
