You can't directly change your Amazon credit card within your Amazon account. However, you can update the credit card information associated with your Amazon account. Here's how:
Updating Your Amazon Credit Card
- Log in to your Amazon account: Go to the Amazon website and log in using your email address and password.
- Navigate to "Your Account": Click on the "Account & Lists" dropdown menu at the top right corner of the page and select "Your Account."
- Choose "Payment Methods": Find the "Payment Methods" section on the "Your Account" page and click on it.
- Select "Edit" next to your current credit card: You will see a list of your saved payment methods. Locate the credit card you want to update and click on the "Edit" button next to it.
- Enter your new credit card details: Enter the new credit card information, including the card number, expiry date, and CVV code.
- Save your changes: Click on the "Save" button to update your Amazon account with the new credit card information.
Important Notes:
- You may need to verify your new credit card by entering a one-time passcode sent to your mobile phone.
- If you are changing your primary payment method, ensure that the new credit card has sufficient funds to cover any outstanding balances or future purchases.
- You can add multiple credit cards to your Amazon account, allowing you to choose which card you want to use for each transaction.
