Adding your child to Family Sharing allows you to share your Apple subscriptions, purchases, and more with them. Here's how to do it:
1. On Your Device:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- Tap on your Apple ID banner at the top.
- Select Family Sharing.
- Tap Add Family Member.
2. Choose a Method:
- Invite with Email: Enter your child's email address.
- Invite with Phone Number: Enter your child's phone number.
- Create Account for a Child: Choose this option if your child does not have an Apple ID yet.
3. Follow the Instructions:
- Your child will receive an invitation to join Family Sharing.
- They need to accept the invitation on their device.
- Once they accept, they will be added to your family.
4. Manage Family Sharing:
- You can adjust your child's settings within Family Sharing.
- You can control their app purchases, screen time, location sharing, and more.
5. Note:
- Your child must be at least 13 years old to join Family Sharing.
- If you're using an Apple TV, you can add family members through the Settings app.
Remember:
- You can also add other family members to your Family Sharing group.
- You can manage the Family Sharing settings from any of your devices.
