Understanding Roles

There are several roles available in Business Manager, each with different levels of access and permissions:

  • Admin: Has full access to the ad account and can manage all aspects of it.
  • Advertiser: Can create, edit, and manage campaigns, but cannot access billing information or change account settings.
  • Analyst: Can view performance data and reports, but cannot make changes to campaigns.
  • Employee: Has limited access to specific campaigns or aspects of the ad account.
  • Financial Analyst: Can view billing information and payment history.

You can choose the role that best suits the person's responsibilities and level of access required.

Example

Let's say you want to give your marketing team member, John, access to create and manage campaigns for your ad account. You would choose the Advertiser role for John.

Tips

  • You can edit or remove roles at any time.
  • You can assign different roles to different people for different ad accounts.
