What is the shortcut key to delete columns in Excel?

There is no single shortcut key to delete columns in Excel. However, you can use a combination of keys to achieve this:

  • Select the column(s) you want to delete. You can do this by clicking on the column header or by dragging your mouse across the desired columns.
  • Press the Delete key on your keyboard. This will delete the selected columns.

Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut:

  • Select the column(s) you want to delete.
  • Press Ctrl + Minus (or Command + Minus on a Mac) to delete the selected columns.

Remember:

  • You can delete multiple columns at once by selecting them before pressing the Delete key.
  • If you accidentally delete a column, you can undo the action by pressing Ctrl + Z (or Command + Z on a Mac).
