There is no single shortcut key to delete columns in Excel. However, you can use a combination of keys to achieve this:
- Select the column(s) you want to delete. You can do this by clicking on the column header or by dragging your mouse across the desired columns.
- Press the
Delete
key on your keyboard. This will delete the selected columns.
Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut:
- Select the column(s) you want to delete.
- Press
Ctrl + Minus
(orCommand + Minus
on a Mac) to delete the selected columns.
Remember:
- You can delete multiple columns at once by selecting them before pressing the
Delete
key. - If you accidentally delete a column, you can undo the action by pressing
Ctrl + Z
(orCommand + Z
on a Mac).
