You can't directly add an Outlook account to Gmail. However, you can access your Outlook emails within Gmail by setting up Gmail's POP3/IMAP access or using Gmail's "Send mail as" feature.
Using POP3/IMAP
- Log in to your Outlook account.
- Go to your Outlook settings. You can usually find this by clicking on the gear icon or your profile picture.
- Locate the "Mail" or "Accounts" section.
- Enable POP3 or IMAP access. This allows Gmail to retrieve your Outlook emails.
- In Gmail, go to Settings > Accounts and Import > Add an email account.
- Select "Import mail and contacts" and follow the instructions. You'll need to enter your Outlook email address and password.
Using "Send Mail As"
- Go to Gmail Settings > Accounts and Import > Add another email address you own.
- Select "Send mail as" and enter your Outlook email address.
- Follow the instructions to verify your Outlook account. This may involve checking your Outlook inbox for a verification code.
Remember: These methods allow you to access and send emails from your Outlook account within Gmail, but they don't merge your accounts. Your Outlook emails will still be stored in your Outlook account.
Note: The process may vary slightly depending on your Outlook provider and version.
