How Do I Remove an Email Address from Autofill in Outlook?

You can easily remove an email address from Outlook's autofill by following these simple steps:

For Outlook Desktop:

  1. Open a new email: Click on the "New Email" button.
  2. Start typing the email address: Begin typing the email address you want to remove.
  3. Select the address from the suggestions: When the address appears in the suggestions, click on it to highlight it.
  4. Press the "Delete" key: This will remove the highlighted address from the autofill list.

For Outlook Web:

  1. Open a new email: Click on the "Compose" button.
  2. Start typing the email address: Begin typing the email address you want to remove.
  3. Select the address from the suggestions: When the address appears in the suggestions, click on it to highlight it.
  4. Press the "Backspace" key: This will remove the highlighted address from the autofill list.

Additional Tips:

  • If you want to remove multiple addresses, repeat the process for each address.
  • You can also clear your entire autofill history in Outlook settings.
