You can't directly edit your Hotmail address. However, you can change your email address associated with your Microsoft account, which includes your Hotmail address. Here's how:
- Log in to your Microsoft account: Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ and enter your Hotmail email address and password.
- Access your account settings: Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select "View account."
- Navigate to the "Email address" section: Scroll down to the "Email address" section and click on "Manage."
- Add a new email address: Enter the new email address you want to use and follow the on-screen instructions to verify it.
- Make your new address the primary address: Once verified, you can choose to make your new address the primary address for your Microsoft account.
Important notes:
- Changing your primary email address will affect all Microsoft services associated with your account, including Hotmail, OneDrive, and Xbox.
- Your old Hotmail address will still be associated with your account, but you won't be able to log in with it anymore.
- You can add multiple email addresses to your Microsoft account, but only one can be set as the primary address.
