The Roland FP-10 digital piano doesn't receive traditional software updates like a computer or smartphone. Instead, you update the piano by updating its internal sound library and firmware. Here's how:

Updating the Sound Library

  1. Download the latest sound library: Visit the Roland website and navigate to the FP-10 support page. Look for the "Sound Library" or "Piano Library" section and download the latest update.
  2. Transfer the library to a USB drive: Connect a USB flash drive to your computer. Copy the downloaded sound library files to the USB drive, ensuring the folder structure remains intact.
  3. Connect the USB drive to your FP-10: Plug the USB drive into the FP-10's USB port.
  4. Select the "Sound Library Update" option: On the FP-10's display, navigate to the "Settings" menu and select "Sound Library Update".
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions: The piano will guide you through the update process. This may involve selecting the USB drive and confirming the update.
  6. Wait for the update to complete: The update process may take some time. Do not disconnect the USB drive until the update is finished.

Updating the Firmware
