How to Add a Google Ads Account in Google Ads Manager Account?

Published in Digital Marketing 2 mins read

You can't directly add a Google Ads account to your Google Ads Manager account. Google Ads Manager is a platform designed for managing large-scale display campaigns, while Google Ads is for managing search, display, video, and shopping campaigns.

However, you can link your Google Ads accounts to Google Ads Manager to manage them from a single platform. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Google Ads Manager account.
  2. Go to the "Admin" tab.
  3. Click on "Accounts" and then "Linked accounts."
  4. Click on "Add account."
  5. Select "Google Ads" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Enter your Google Ads account ID and click "Link."

Note: You need to be an administrator of both the Google Ads Manager and Google Ads accounts to link them.

Once you link your Google Ads accounts, you can manage them from the Google Ads Manager interface. You can view campaign performance, create and edit campaigns, and manage budgets.

Linking your Google Ads accounts to Google Ads Manager provides several advantages:

  • Centralized management: You can manage all your Google Ads accounts from one place.
  • Enhanced reporting: You can generate detailed reports across all your linked accounts.
  • Improved efficiency: You can automate tasks and streamline your workflow.

By following these steps, you can successfully link your Google Ads accounts to your Google Ads Manager account and enjoy the benefits of centralized management and reporting.
