You can use Split View to view two apps side by side on your iMac. Here's how:

  1. Open the two apps you want to view side by side.
  2. Hover your cursor over the green maximize button in the top-left corner of one of the app windows.
  3. Click and drag the green button to the left or right edge of the screen.
  4. Select the other app you want to view alongside it.

Now you have two apps side by side, allowing you to work efficiently with both applications simultaneously.

Additional Tips:

  • You can adjust the size of each app by dragging the divider between them.
  • You can switch between apps by clicking on the desired app's window.
  • To exit Split View, click the green maximize button again, or use the "Mission Control" feature to rearrange your windows.

Example:

Let's say you're working on a document in Pages and need to reference images in Photos. You can use Split View to have both Pages and Photos open side by side for easy access.
