How Do You Change Shortcuts in Windows?

You can change shortcuts in Windows by using the Settings app or the Registry Editor.

Using the Settings App

  1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows key + I.
  2. Select Accessibility.
  3. Click on Keyboard.
  4. Under Keyboard shortcuts, you can find a list of common shortcuts and their corresponding actions.
  5. Click on the shortcut you want to change and enter a new key combination.
  6. Click Apply to save the changes.

Using the Registry Editor

  1. Open the Registry Editor by pressing Windows key + R and typing regedit.
  2. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders.
  3. Right-click on the folder you want to change the shortcut for and select Modify.
  4. In the Value data field, enter the new path for the folder.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
